My Graphic Design Portfolio.
Graphic Design is something that I love to do. I love creating things for other people, whether it be logos, business cards, or posters I am the person to call.

Epub Magazine
|
This Epub was very exciting to make. Designing the layout, writing the articles, and taking the pictures to all look like they belong in the same magazine was a little challenging, but I got the hang of it. I really like to focus on typefaces and which kinds of fonts belong with which article. I also created the magazine name and logo to go with the Epub.

The Mountain Goats Experimental Typeface.
This experimental typeface was inspired by the band The Mountain Goats. I would listen to their songs and create small 'doodles' to put them all together into one typeface. I wanted someone to be able to look at the drawings and be able to tell what song they're from, because each song is so uniquely descriptive and graphic.

'Save The Trees' Hand-lettered Font.
Creating this poster was extremely fun because I achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve. The words were meant to look like they flow together and are all connected to one another in some way. I hand drew each letter then created a older looking map for the background for a potential poster for the Trees of Houston organization.

Socks Book.
"Just Socks" is a book about anything that has to do with socks. The history of socks, sock poems, different types of people with different types of socks and many more. I took all the pictures and wrote all 2,000 words to get the type of feel I wanted for this book. I wanted it to be very colorful and playful so people would want to pick it up and read it.

Hershey's Package Design
Menu Design
"New Co." is a made up restaurant that an every day person could go to. When designing this website I wanted people to really feel like they knew what food they were getting. I picked each font for each menu item specifically to give them character. When designing this menu I didn't want it to be 'too upscale' or 'too casual' so I aimed for something right inbetween.
